Music plays a very important role in a child’s development.  From lullabies sung to soothe an infant to childhood games like Ring Around the Rosy, music offers life-long rewards to each and every one of us.  Singing, playing music, listening and moving to trains the brain, helps develop coordination, and is something that any one, no matter their age or race, can appreciate and enjoy.

Plato once said that music “is a more potent instrument than any other for education” and we agree completely.  Lowell Samuel was committed to introducing children to music, and Samuel Music remains true to his commitment. Every child, no matter their age or skill, can sing, dance and experience multiple benefits and life-long rewards from music.

At Samuel Music we offer a variety of programs designed for kids.  From infants to toddlers to teenagers and every age in between, we offer a variety of ways to involve your kids in music.  We invite you to explore our current fall programs.

By considering music education for your child at an early age you have taken a first-step toward bonding musically with your child and enriching your family life with active music-making.  Musikgarten is a sequential music and development program for children birth to age 9.  It's offered only in our Effingham location, with our certified instructor, Jill Dust.

This spring we have two great classes scheduled, Family Music and Cycle of the Seasons.  All classes will begin the week of April 1 and run for 8 weeks.
